The Legend of PEP
Pretty Egg Productions was founded in 2005 by
Neal and Deb Havener after they were rejected
from every single film festival. Prior, they tried
the acting circuit, in which they were rejected by
every major casting office on the West coast.
New York didn't know what to do with them
either.
Rather than involve themselves in a vengeful
crime spree, they decided to take the high road
and become indie filmmakers and producers to
pour out their hearts and egos into sad, lonely,
sadistic tales that are sure to thrill the entire
family.
Some quotes from cast and crew who have
survived their rigorous shoots:
"They don't know what they're doing."
"The only thing I ever found on the craft
services table that had any nutritional value was
a pack of Twizzlers."
"Where's my trailer? ... Whadda ya mean we
don't get trailers?"
"Did anyone think to bring toilet paper?"
"My first experience with PEP was nothing short
of brutal. By the second shoot I was begging for
my mother -- but she's locked up in the Franklin
County jail."
"No officer, that's not real beer. Those are
props."
"I'm here again why?"
Is it legend or is true?
